The council will use your personal information for the purpose of delivering the service as requested by you by completing this form. This form should only be completed for a property in Salford. If you do not know which council collects your bins, please check the ‘find my council’External site page on the gov.uk website before completing this form.

 

All applications are assessed using the following criteria:

  • the number of permanent residents in the household (minimum 6)
  • the efforts taken by that household to reduce and recycle its waste
  • other exceptional circumstances particular to that address

 

You will be asked to explain the measures you take to manage your waste in a sustainable manner, this information will be used to assess your application.

 

We will look at the contents of your bins at the application address to further assess your need for a larger black bin.

 

Whilst your application is being considered, only waste contained in your wheeled bin will be removed. No additional waste will be removed on your collection day.

 

If your application is successful a charge of £66.41 will be required for the larger bin.
